Commission Guidelines

Before sending a commission request, please read the guidelines carefully.
They explain how commissions work, including booking, payment, progress updates and important rules for customer-provided kits.
1
Before You Send a Request
Please prepare the most important project information before sending your request.

This includes the character name, scale, sculptor or manufacturer, a shop link or 3D model link, reference pictures and a short description of the desired final look.
2
Project Review
Every request is reviewed individually.
I review the project, check the model and estimate the amount of work involved.
3
Quote & Booking
A commission request is not a booking.
After reviewing your project details, I will send you a quote. The project is only confirmed after the deposit has been paid.

Until the deposit has been paid, the commission slot is not reserved.
4
Kit Availability
If a required kit or model becomes unavailable before the deposit has been paid, the project cannot be confirmed.

The commission is only binding after the quote has been accepted and the deposit has been paid.
5
Deposits
A deposit* is required to confirm a commission.
If the client cancels the project after the deposit has been paid, the deposit is non-refundable.

The deposit covers reserved working time, project preparation, planning, communication and project-related costs.
6
Customer-Provided Physical Kits
If you already own the physical kit and want to send it to me for painting, the painting process must be paid in full before I start working on it.

This rule exists because cancellation or unpaid remaining balances can create complicated situations once a customer-owned kit is already in my possession or has already been worked on.
7
Shipping Your Kit to Me
The client is responsible for shipping the kit to me safely.
I am not responsible for damage that happens during shipping before the kit arrives at my workshop.
8
Payment Plans
Payment plans may be possible for larger projects.
The details are discussed individually before the project is confirmed.
For regular commissions, work begins once the agreed required payment has been received.

For customer-provided physical kits, work only begins after the full painting price has been paid.
9
Time Frame & Deadlines
Most commission projects take around 4 to 12 weeks, depending on the current slot position, project size and overall complexity.

This is an estimated time frame, not a fixed deadline. I do not offer rush orders or guaranteed delivery dates.
10
Progress Updates & Extra WIPs
Regular progress updates are sent at 5* key steps during the project.
Additional WIP photos* or videos must be requested in advance and are charged separately(15€ per extra photo). They are not included automatically during the commission process.
I do not provide continuous work-in-progress documentation.
11
Changes During the Project
Small adjustments may be possible during the project, depending on the current stage of the work.

Larger changes or requests that differ from the original agreement may increase the final price.

Changes are not always possible once a part has already been painted, sealed or assembled.
12
Final Payment & Shipping
The remaining payment is due before shipping.

Shipping costs are listed in the quote and are based on destination, parcel size,
weight and insurance value.

Finished figures are packed carefully and shipped insured.

*Deposit Refunds
If I have to cancel the commission for any reason, the deposit will be fully refunded.
